Let’s talk cost.

The initial purchase price at the time of this blog is $449. This gets you access to the entire course which contains over 6 hours of video, as well as their podcast which touches on all of the latest tactics and strategies to appease the ever-changing Google algorithm.

After one year, it is a $199 a year fee to retain access to the community, podcast, and additional videos that are added over time. So, is this a fair price?

I’d say so. Here’s why.

Jim and Ricky clearly put a ton of work and value into their free lessons on the Income School Youtube channel, and that transfers over 10 fold in Project 24. While most SEO courses I’ve taken get stale with outdated information quickly, Project 24 is at the forefront of updates and changes.

Considering most courses of this caliber easily charge over $1000 and then never update their content, I feel the price is completely justified.

So the course isn’t for everyone, and I think it’s important to realize this right away. Project 24 will not make you money overnight, it might not even make you money in the first 6 months.

The strategy of creating incredible content and then ranking for it takes time, so if you have bills to pay tomorrow Project 24 won’t cover them. This is a long game, but it can be an incredibly fulfilling and profitable one if you stick to it.

While unlikely, if you’re an SEO expert or are very knowledgeable with topics such as on-page optimization, content creation, or competitive analysis you might not find anything new to you here.

Project 24 makes it’s easy to succeed by breaking down everything you need to do to get the ball rolling in 60 steps.

I was working full time while following this program, which means I was busy 50 hours of the week and was still able to build a site, and follow the coursework.

The 60 steps strike a great balance between being detailed, but not overwhelming.

It’s so important the steps get followed in the right order because if they’re not it could result in a ton of wasted time and low traffic.

Project 24 is all about taking a topic you know and love and turning it into an asset that generates cash flow. Picking the right niche is so vitally important for so many reasons.

If you pick something too broad you’ll never rank for your keywords. Choose a niche that you’re not interested or passionate about and the long game of content creation turns into a slow painful grind.

This is one of the first things Project 24 addresses and there are several exercises that help you pick the perfect niche and topic for your site.

Website Setup & Tools

People who aren’t naturally tech-savvy will be relieved to know that there are videos that clearly show exactly what to do step by step when it comes to getting your domain name and site ready.

As you progress you’ll start to write what are called pillar posts. These are massive 3000+ word blog posts that will help you rank for tougher keywords in your niche.

The problem is, this can be a daunting task for some people, especially if you’re new to writing. Jim and Ricky have some great tips on how to piece out larger form content to make writing a lot more enjoyable and less grindy.

Promotion

You’ll learn how to leverage other platforms such as Youtube and Pinterest to drive traffic to your website. This will be an important part of growing your site, especially in the beginning.

While yes, you can wait the 35 weeks it will take for Google to fully rank your posts, you can do promotion in between that time help drive traffic and foster a community.

Monetization

Notice how making money was actually the last step. Some people are surprised by this, but it makes a lot of sense.

We’re creating super valuable content and then either promoting products to an audience, selling something of our own, or running display ads.

Either way you cut it, the traffic has to come first. And that will take some time.

My Personal Results

So I’d like to share some of my personal results that I’ve seen with Income School’s Project 24.

Now I was actually really lazy and did not follow their instructions step by step, yet I’m still seeing results.

Below is a snapshot of about 7 months worth of data from my niche site that is a very small part of the travel industry. Other things have taken up my time but I still create blogs for this site and make money from time to time.

There are more dedicated students who blow these numbers out of the water.

It just takes work, time, and dedication.

Clearly, if I dedicated more time I could see more consistent growth, but notice how I have a baseline of about 40-60 visitors per day. As you grow, that baseline will rise, and that’s where you make a consistent income.

I have a few ads on each blog that bring in a small amount, but a majority of my money is made from book sales and affiliate links. My plan is to create my own product and sell it on this site. This technique is covered in detail in Project 24.

If you’re looking for fast cash, this is not for you. If you follow this program I highly recommend you pick a niche or topic that you love writing and talking about. This site will be your baby, and if you don’t love it, you’ll stop working on it.

I think it’s really great that Jim and Ricky are also including Youtube material into their training as well. With more and more people watching videos they do a really good job of incorporating that into their coursework as well.
